Gig Harbor put another one in the bag on Tuesday to keep their perfect season alive. They never let the Mount Tahoma T-Birds get on the board and left with an 11-0 victory. Considering the Tides have won eight matches by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

Gig Harbor got a great performance from Logan Pedersen as he didn't allow a single earned run while striking out eight over five innings pitched. Those eight strikeouts gave Pedersen a new career-high.

At the plate, Gig Harbor let Jayce Corley and Ethan Mar run wild. Corley scored two runs while going 2-for-4, while Mar scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Corley also put up a double, which was his first of the season. Cole Krilich was another key player, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3.

Gig Harbor hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Mount Tahoma struck out eight times.

Gig Harbor pushed their record up to 14-0 with the win, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.7 runs on average over those games. As for Mount Tahoma, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.

Looking ahead, Gig Harbor will venture away from home to face off against Lakes at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Mount Tahoma, they will host Eatonville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
