Baseball Recap: Cardinal Spellman Comes Up Short

Cardinal Spellman lost against Archbishop Williams on Friday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Cardinals came up short against the Bishops, falling 17-3. The Cardinals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Cardinal Spellman saw nine different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colin Thorton, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run. That hit marked the first that Thorton has got this season.

Cardinal Spellman's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Archbishop Williams, the victory made it two in a row for them and also bumps their season record up to 4-10.
