If Columbia Montour Vo-Tech wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Hanover Area, they should've done a better job of containing Dewayne Downey. The Hawkeyes took their contest on Friday with ease, bagging a 63-0 win over the Rams with plenty of help from Downey, who rushed for 81 yards and four scores on only five carries. He is becoming a predictor of Hanover Area's success: when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns the team is undefeated (and 0-4 when he doesn't).

The victory got Hanover Area back to even at 4-4. As for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.
