Baseball Recap: Hilbert Comes Up Short

Hilbert's last matchup with Reedsville could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's game on Monday. The Wolves lost 16-2 to the Panthers. The Wolves haven't had much luck with the Panthers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Brody Hein made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run was his first of the season.

Hilbert's loss dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Reedsville, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-5 record this season.

As for Reedsville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Ozaukee at 4:30 p.m. The Warriors will roll in looking for their fifth straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
