Methacton has gone 8-2 against Perkiomen Valley recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Warriors will head out to face off against the Vikings at 4:00 p.m.

Methacton managed to slip by Boyertown the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Warriors came up short against the Bears on Wednesday, falling 14-2. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Warriors couldn't push the score so high this time.

Meanwhile, Perkiomen Valley came tearing into Wednesday's matchup with seven straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.1 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Wildcats 3-1.

Perkiomen Valley pushed their record up to 15-2 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 10.8 runs over those games. As for Methacton, their loss ended a 12-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 15-3.

Methacton beat Perkiomen Valley 7-2 in their previous matchup back in April. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Warriors since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
