Volleyball Recap: Davis Victorious

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against West Field, Davis was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They came out on top against the Viewmont Vikings by a score of 3-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Darts also won the last time the pair played back in August of 2022.

If you add up the scores from across all four sets (88-84) Davis actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 25-19, 9-25, 25-23, 25-21.

When it comes to explaining why Viewmont lost, don't look at Addison Pinnock. Despite the final result, she had 12 digs and three assists.

The victory got Davis back to even at 2-2. As for Viewmont, they dropped their record down to 2-1 with the defeat, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Davis will take on Morgan at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The Trojans will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Darts surely won't give up without a fight. As for Viewmont, they will challenge Farmington at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
