The home team had won the previous six meetings between Cass City and Brown City, and Cass City kept the tradition alive. The Red Hawks never let the Green Devils get on the board and left with a 6-0 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Red Hawks, who have now won six contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Hayden Anthes was a major factor no matter where he played. On the mound, he didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits over six innings pitched. Anthes was also big at the plate, earning two RBI, one run, and one stolen base.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jackson Anthony, who went 1-for-2 with two stolen bases, two RBI, and one run.

Cass City's victory bumped their record up to 10-6. As for Brown City, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-5.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Cass City will head out to take on Caro at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Brown City, they will venture away from home to face off against Marlette at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday.
