Volleyball Recap: Chamois Pirates vs. Christian Fellowship
Chamois was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 13th straight loss. They lost 3-0 to Christian Fellowship. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Pirates of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in October of 2023.
After all that action, the final score was 25-13, 25-13, 25-15.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Christian Fellowship to victory, but perhaps none more so than Kaylee Garner, who had seven digs and seven aces. The dominant performance gave Garner a new career-high in aces. The team also got some help courtesy of Emma Kate Bradley, who had 11 digs.
Chamois' loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Christian Fellowship, they pushed their record up to 7-2-2 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road.
Chamois will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on St. James at 6:00 p.m. on October 4th.
