Basketball Recap: Homer Takes a Loss

Homer was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 58-47 to the Lincoln Prep Panthers. The Pelicans were probably out for revenge after losing 66-53 to them when the teams met back in January of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Homer's loss dropped their record down to 10-12. As for Lincoln Prep, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Homer will host Jonesboro-Hodge at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Lincoln Prep, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Glenbrook at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
