Basketball Game Preview: West Genesee Wildcats vs. Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars

West Genesee is on a nine-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Cicero-North Syracuse is on a six-game streak of away wins (also dating back to last season): one of those streaks is about to end. The West Genesee Wildcats will welcome the Cicero-North Syracuse Northstars at 6:45 p.m. on Tuesday. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.

Last Tuesday, West Genesee strolled past Proctor with points to spare, taking the game 66-49.

Meanwhile, Cicero-North Syracuse was able to grind out a solid victory over Niagara Falls on Saturday, taking the game 55-45.

West Genesee's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Cicero-North Syracuse, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-0.

West Genesee couldn't quite finish off Cicero-North Syracuse when the teams last played back in December of 2023 and fell 73-70. Can West Genesee avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
