Basketball Recap: Swampscott Takes a Loss

On Tuesday, the Swampscott Big Blue came up short against the Lynnfield Pioneers and fell 54-45. While losing is never fun, the Big Blue can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Massachusetts basketball rankings (they are ranked 155th, while the Pioneers are ranked 28th).

Swampscott's loss dropped their record down to 11-9. As for Lynnfield, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 7-0.

Swampscott has already played their next matchup, a 48-46 win against Marblehead on the 19th. As for Lynnfield, they will face off against Groton-Dunstable on Monday.
