Excel Christian Academy took a blow against Oakwood Christian, falling 47-19. Excel Christian Academy was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 30-10.

Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Trion's strategy against Atlanta Classical Academy on Wednesday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Bulldogs blew the Cavaliers out of the water with a 52-22 final score. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Trion found their leader in freshman Dallas Payne, who posted 31 points. Those 31 points set a new season-high mark for Payne.

Trion's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Excel Christian Academy, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Excel Christian Academy took a serious blow against Trion when the teams last played back in November, falling 78-13. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Eagles were down 43-7.
