Basketball Game Preview: Ware County Gators vs. Vidalia Indians

The Ware County Gators and the Vidalia Indians will face off at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. Ware County is coming into the matchup on a three-game losing streak.

On Friday, Ware County lost to Warner Robins on the road by a 59-44 margin. While losing is never fun, the Gators can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 40th, while the Demons are ranked tenth).

Meanwhile, Vidalia strolled past Toombs County with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 48-34.

Ware County's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 13-3. As for Vidalia, their victory bumped their record up to 9-5.

Ware County strolled past Vidalia when the teams last played back in December of 2024 by a score of 60-41. Does Ware County have another victory up their sleeve, or will Vidalia turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
