After losing to Kecoughtan the last time they met, Bethel decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. The Bethel Bruins snuck past the Kecoughtan Warriors with a 56-52 victory on Tuesday. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bruins.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Caleb Mathews, who went 8 of 16 en route to 21 points. The matchup was Mathews' third in a row with at least ten points. Kevin Dryden was another key player, putting up 13 points.

Bethel's win bumped their record up to 7-8. As for Kecoughtan, they have also been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-8 record this season.

Bethel will be playing at home against Gloucester at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Bethel is facing Gloucester at the right time seeing as Gloucester is stuck on a nine-game losing streak. As for Kecoughtan, they are taking a road trip to challenge Phoebus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Kecoughtan will also cruise into their next game with the timing on their side: Phoebus will have lost six straight heading into Thursday's match.
