Basketball Recap: Jayden Younce's Big Game Can't Quite Lead Eastbrook over Madison-Grant

After flying high against Eastern last Saturday, Eastbrook came back down to earth. The Eastbrook Panthers fell to the Madison-Grant Argylls 46-41. The Panthers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Argylls apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in February of 2024.

Eastbrook lost on Friday despite a true team effort on offense, the best among them being Jayden Younce, who posted 11 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reid Aupperle, who put up four points.

Eastbrook now has a losing record at 6-7. As for Madison-Grant, their victory bumped their record up to 5-7.

Eastbrook will welcome Daleville at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Madison-Grant, they will venture away from home to square off against Oak Hill at 7:45 p.m. on January 31st. The timing is sure in Oak Hill's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Madison-Grant has been banged up by four consecutive losses on the road.
