Baseball Recap: Geneva Comes Up Short

Wednesday just wasn't the day for Geneva's offense. They came up short against the Canandaigua Academy Braves on Wednesday, falling 11-0. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Geneva saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Joe Salone, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base.

Geneva's defeat dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Canandaigua Academy, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 12-6.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Geneva will host Newark at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Canandaigua Academy, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Sutherland at 5:00 p.m. on Friday.
