Softball Recap: Winterboro Takes a Loss

Winterboro fell victim to Fayetteville and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 7-0 to the Wolves. The Bulldogs' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.

Winterboro's loss dropped their record down to 2-19. As for Fayetteville, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-10.

Coming up, Winterboro will head out on the road to take on Comer at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The Bulldogs are facing the Tigers at the right time seeing as the Tigers are stuck on an eight-game losing streak. As for Fayetteville, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Woodland at 4:30 p.m.
