Last Tuesday, Sioux Valley made easy work of Arlington and carried off a 3-0 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Cossacks.
Meanwhile, Chester came tearing into Thursday's matchup with six straight wins and they left with even more momentum. They put the hurt on the Bulldogs with a sharp 3-0 victory.
Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-19.
Gracie Huntimer was a one-man wrecking crew for Chester as she had 14 digs and two aces. That's the most aces Huntimer has posted in her last seven contests. The team also got some help courtesy of Lexi Bauman, who had eight digs.
Chester couldn't miss and finished the game having scored on 41.6% of their attack attempts. They are a perfect 4-0 when when their percentage is at least 0.4.
Sioux Valley's win was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 18-2. As for Chester, their record is now 23-2.
