Basketball Game Preview: East Hill Christian Eagles vs. South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights

The East Hill Christian Eagles will head out on the road to face off against the South Baldwin Christian Academy Knights at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Last Monday, East Hill Christian ended up a good deal behind Aletheia Christian Academy and lost 62-47. The Eagles were down 52-32 at the end of the third quarter, which was just too much to recover from.

Meanwhile, South Baldwin Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They lost 64-38 to Snook Christian Academy. While losing is never fun, the Knights can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 743rd, while the Eagles are ranked 255th).

South Baldwin Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 2-7. As for East Hill Christian, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-8 record this season.

East Hill Christian was dealt a bruising 52-23 loss at the hands of South Baldwin Christian Academy when the teams last played back in November of 2024. Can East Hill Christian avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
