Volleyball Recap: Shawnee Mission South Takes a Loss

It was a classic North v. South duel when Shawnee Mission South took on Shawnee Mission Northwest on Monday. The Raiders took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, with their most recent loss being a 2-0 defeat on October 4th.

The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-21.

Shawnee Mission South's defeat dropped their record down to 10-17-1. As for Shawnee Mission Northwest, the victory snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 21-10 record.

Shawnee Mission South does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Shawnee Mission Northwest, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 2-0 win against Shawnee Mission East on the 20th.
