With a playoff win on the line, Auburn rose to the challenge on Saturday. They blew past the Litchfield Purple Panthers 11-2. The Trojans not only won on Saturday, but they posted their biggest win since April 7th (when they won 14-4).
Auburn's victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 14-13. As for Litchfield, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 21-15 record this season.
Auburn wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 9-0 defeat against Pleasant Plains on the 28th. Litchfield does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
