Softball Recap: Ironton Fighting Tigers vs. Rock Hill Redmen

Ironton stacked a tenth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Friday. They were the clear victor by a 14-1 margin over the Rock Hill Redmen. Winning may never get old, but Ironton sure is getting used to it with their eighth in a row.

Ironton let Bella Sorbilli and Khamil Martin loose on the outfield. Sorbilli fired off two home runs, three runs, and four RBI while going 3-for-3, while Martin fired off two home runs, three runs, and three RBI while going 3-for-4. Martin is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now stolen at least one in the last five games she's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Katelyn Williams, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

Ironton pushed their record up to 13-4 with that victory, which was their seventh straight on the road. As for Rock Hill, their loss dropped their record down to 4-7.
