 Rappahannock County can finally bid farewell to their five-game losing streak dating back to last season thanks to their game  on Tuesday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Riverheads Gladiators  a   2-0 shutout. This was a revenge  contest for Rappahannock County, as the team was forced to settle for  a  5-1 defeat when these two played  on Tuesday.
 Rappahannock County's victory was truly a team effort as two different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was  Jared Loving, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-2.
 Rappahannock County  made their fans wait, but they earned their first win of the season to make their record 1-4. As for Riverheads, their  loss was their first of the  season and makes their record 1-1-4.
 Both  teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rappahannock County will be staying on the road  on Thursday to face off against Clarke County at 5:00  p.m. As for Riverheads, they will  challenge Stuarts Draft at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday. Riverheads' pitching crew has only allowed 0.5  runs per game  this season, so Stuarts Draft's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
