Softball Recap: Tonopah Muckers vs. Mountain View Christian Saints

Tonopah won against Mountain View Christian on Friday with 22 runs and they decided to stick to that run total again on Friday. Tonopah blew past Mountain View Christian 22-9. The Muckers might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matches by 13 runs or more this season.

Alyssa Maurer was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four stolen bases, and six RBI. Those six RBI gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacy Kiersch, who scored four runs and stole a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances.

Tonopah was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .600. The team's really been improving in that area: they've now improved their batting average total in three consecutive games.
