Football Recap: Mountain View Skates Past Redmond with Ease

Mountain View won the last time they faced Redmond and things went their way on Friday too. The Cougars took their contest with ease, bagging a 42-0 win over the Panthers. Considering the Cougars have won six games by more than 28 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

The victory (which was Mountain View's third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 40.7 points over those games. As for Redmond, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Mountain View is set to square off against their familiar foe Ridgeview at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few points on average (the Cougars 7.6, the Ravens 10.7) so any points scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Redmond will take on rival Bend at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
