Mayde Creek extended their road winning streak to three games thanks to a huge performance from Jamaal Jones Jr. The Rams really took it to the Morton Ranch Mavericks for the full four quarters, racking up a 47-16 victory for which the team can thank Jones Jr, who rushed for 102 yards and a pair of TDs on only 11 carries. He also punched in two rushing touchdowns, which is notable because Mayde Creek is 3-1 when he posts at least two rushing touchdowns, but 1-2 otherwise.

Another player making a difference was Chad Nelson, who picked up 97 receiving yards and one touchdown. He showed off some serious burst, connecting on a big catch for 67 yards.

Mayde Creek now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Morton Ranch, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 2-6 record this season.

Coincidentally, Mayde Creek and Morton Ranch will both be playing Cinco Ranch the next time they take the field. The Rams will host the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Mavericks will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on the 30th.
