Volleyball Recap: New Haven Takes a Loss

New Haven was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the St. Francis Borgia Knights. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Shamrocks of the 3-0 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in September of 2024.

The final score came out to 25-8, 25-17, 25-13.

Hannah Schneider paced New Haven's offense, picking up five kills. Schneider also shared the team's lead in assists with Hannah Knight: they picked up six each. Finally, Alivia Guehne kept New Haven's defense grounded, leading the team with four blocks.

New Haven's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for St. Francis Borgia, they now have a winning record of 4-3-2.

New Haven wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 3-0 victory against Montgomery County on the 11th. As for St. Francis Borgia, they have also already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Lutheran on the 11th.
