Basketball Recap: Monahans Comes Up Short

Monahans was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 94-16 loss at the hands of the Seminole Indians. While losing is never fun, the Loboes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1060th, while the Indians are ranked 44th).

Monahans' defeat dropped their record down to 11-18. As for Seminole, the win was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 21-6.

Monahans will head out on the road to face off against Andrews at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Seminole, they will welcome Pecos at 6:15 p.m. on Friday.
