Ider made up a huge gap compared to their last game against Geraldine, but they still couldn't quite topple them. The Hornets never let the Bulldogs get on the board and left with a 9-0 win on Saturday. The Hornets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 14 games by six runs or more this season.

Ider is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8-2 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.6 runs over those games. As for Geraldine, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-8.

Ider has already played their next contest, an 11-1 win against Section on the 14th. As for Geraldine, they also wasted no time getting back out on the field and have already played their next game, a 2-0 victory against Fyffe on the 15th.
