Basketball Recap: King's Academy Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

King's Academy and Boyd-Buchanan squared off in some playoff action on Monday, but King's Academy had to settle for second. They were dealt a 72-39 loss at the hands of the Boyd-Buchanan Buccaneers. The Lions have struggled against the Buccaneers recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost matchup.

King's Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 14-16. As for Boyd-Buchanan, the win was the 15th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 24-5.

King's Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Boyd-Buchanan, they will head out to square off against Christian Academy of Knoxville at 8:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Boyd-Buchanan's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last five games.
