Baseball Recap: Blackstone-Millville Comes Up Short at Home Against Mount St. Charles Academy

Blackstone-Millville unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They came up short against the Mount St. Charles Academy Mounties on Monday, falling 8-1.

Blackstone-Millville saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Zack Bell, who scored a run while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.

The win made it two in a row for Mount St. Charles Academy and bumps their season record up to 4-1-1.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Blackstone-Millville will host Douglas at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday. The contest will give Blackstone-Millville their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Mount St. Charles Academy, they will challenge St. Mark's at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
