Volleyball Recap: Lompoc Comes Up Short

Lompoc was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their 16th straight loss dating back to last season. They fell 3-1 to the Santa Maria Saints. If the Braves were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Saints when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Lompoc's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Santa Maria, their win ended a five-game drought at home and bumped them up to 3-20.

Looking ahead, Lompoc will head out to take on Pioneer Valley at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. The Panthers will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something the Braves surely won't give up without a fight. As for Santa Maria, they will welcome San Luis Obispo Classical Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
