Volleyball Recap: Jonesboro Comes Up Short

Jonesboro lost against Central back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Hurricane lost 3-0 to the Tigers. The Hurricane have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The match finished with set scores of 25-12, 25-17, 25-16.

Emmagin Spencer paced Jonesboro's offense, picking up nine kills. Spencer were helped by Olivia Than and Cooper Beck, who contributed eight assists each.

Jonesboro's defeat dropped their record down to 15-10-1. As for Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 18-7.

Jonesboro has already played their next contest, a 3-0 win against Greene County Tech on the 23rd. As for Central, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Valley View on the 23rd.
