Basketball Game Preview: Randolph Ro-Hawks vs. Marion Bulldogs

Randolph and Marion are an even 5-5 against one another since February of 2020, but not for long. The Randolph Ro-Hawks will venture away from home to take on the Marion Bulldogs at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Randolph will be strutting in after a win while Marion will be coming in after a loss.

Randolph will bounce into Friday's game after beating Young Men's Leadership Academy, who they had gone 0-5 against in their five prior meetings. Randolph took down Young Men's Leadership Academy 50-33 on Tuesday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Ro-Hawks.

Marion has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They received a blow on Tuesday as they fell 62-43 to Cole.

Marion's defeat dropped their record down to 19-9. As for Randolph, their victory was their 11th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 21-4.

Randolph won a contest that couldn't have been any closer when the teams last played on January 14th, slipping by Marion 37-36. The rematch might be a little tougher for Randolph since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
