Soccer Game Preview: Wilson vs. Los Altos

The Wilson Wildcats are taking a road trip to take on the Los Altos Conquerors at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Wilson's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for eight straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Friday just wasn't the day for Wilson's offense. They fell just short of El Rancho by a score of 1-0 on Friday.

Meanwhile, Los Altos has been on a difficult stretch since their win on November 20. Neither they nor La Habra could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw. That draw made it three straight for the Conquerors.

Wilson now has a losing record at 4-5. With that draw, Los Altos' record moves to 1-3-4.

Wilson came out on top in a nail-biter against Los Altos when the teams last played back in January, sneaking past 1-0. The rematch might be a little tougher for Wilson since the team won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
