The Campbellsport Cougars will venture away from home to take on the Laconia Spartans at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Campbellsport is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Campbellsport's usually-dominant pitching crew will be looking to make up for Monday's struggle, when Fond du Lac hitters got past them. The Cougars took a 13-10 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Cardinals on Monday.

Trenton Schladweiler was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 3-for-3 with five RBI and two doubles. Brody Nolan was another key player, going 1-for-5 with one home run and two RBI.

Meanwhile, Laconia didn't have quite enough to beat Kohler on Friday and fell 8-7. The loss was the Spartans' first of the season.

Campbellsport's defeat dropped their record down to 10-2-1. As for Laconia, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 11-1.

Campbellsport couldn't quite finish off Laconia in their previous matchup back in April of 2024 and fell 4-2. Can the Cougars avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
