Plainview is still undefeated this season after their contest against Grissom on Friday, but Grissom came as close as anyone has to beating them. The Bears came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the Tigers. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Bears also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2022.

Plainview's victory bumped their record up to 4-0. As for Grissom, their loss dropped their record down to 8-7.

Coming up, Plainview is taking a road trip to face off against North Jackson at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Grissom, they will get a bit of extra time to process the defeat as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Bob Jones at 4:30 p.m. on the 23rd.
