Martinsville got a massive performance out of Ahvay Scholl, who went 2-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Nacey Dickinson, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base.
Martinsville always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .633. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Martinsville is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-5 record this season. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.5 runs over those games. As for Bloomington North, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home.
