Softball Recap: Century Comes Up Short

The Century Diamondbacks came up short against the Middleton Vikings on Friday, falling 20-1. The Diamondbacks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Kennadi Ozburn made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-3 with one home run. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.

Century now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Middleton, their victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0.

Coincidentally, Century and Middleton will both be playing Sugar-Salem the next time they take the field. The Diamondbacks will head out to face the Diggers at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, while the Vikings will play them later in the day, at 1:00 p.m.
