Springwood extended their winning streak to 12 games thanks to a huge performance from Shalexia Little. The Springwood Wildcats blew past the Chambers Academy Rebels, posting a 55-22 victory thanks in part to Little, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 rebounds. Her evening made it ten games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Springwood pushed their record up to 12-0 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 24.0 points per game. As for Chambers Academy, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.

Coincidentally, Springwood and Chambers Academy will both be playing Macon-East Montgomery Academy the next time they take the court. Springwood will head out to face Macon-East Montgomery Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday, while Chambers Academy will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on January 14th.
