Basketball Game Preview: Coleman Wildcats vs. Boswell Scorpions

After both having extra time off, the Coleman Wildcats and the Boswell Scorpions will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday.

Coleman is headed into the game having just suffered their closest loss since January 16, 2024 last Friday. They fell just short of Calvin by a score of 42-40. The Wildcats have struggled against the Bulldogs recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.

Meanwhile, Boswell came tearing into last Thursday's matchup with ten straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28 points) and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bulldogs, posting a 75-45 victory. The Scorpions' offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Boswell pushed their record up to 12-4 with the win, which was their sixth straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.3 points per game. As for Coleman, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-11.
