Basketball Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were outmatched by the Winfield-Mt. Union Wolves and fell 62-24. The matchup marked the Huskies' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Highland's loss dropped their record down to 0-9. As for Winfield-Mt. Union, their victory bumped their record up to 9-6.

Highland will welcome Sigourney at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. Sigourney knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past eight contests -- so hopefully Highland likes a good challenge. Winfield-Mt. Union has already played their next game, a 63-34 win against Columbus on the 24th.
