Softball Recap: Tri Has No Trouble Against Cambridge City Lincoln

Tri barely beat Cambridge City Lincoln the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Titans blew past the Golden Eagles 7-0 on Friday. The result was nothing new for the Titans, who have now won 11 matches by seven runs or more so far this season.

Ann Bean was excellent, going 2-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and one RBI. That's the most runs she has posted since back in April of 2024.

Tri's victory bumped their record up to 15-5. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-10.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Tri will venture away from home to face off against Daleville at 5:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Cambridge City Lincoln, they will head out to square off against Union City at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Golden Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Indians have averaged an impressive 6.9 runs per game this season.
