Baseball Game Preview: Prattville Christian Academy Panthers vs. Pryor Tigers

A feisty cat fight will be fought as Prattville Christian Academy Panthers face off against Pryor Tigers at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Prattville Christian Academy will be coming into the match with an undefeated record on the line.

On Monday, Prattville Christian Academy was able to grind out a solid win over Goodpasture Christian, taking the game 5-2. The five-run effort marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring contest of the season, but in the end it didn't matter.

Blake Bowman made a splash no matter where he played. He didn't allow a single earned run while striking out 11 over seven innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, going 1-for-3 with three RBI, one stolen base, and one double.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Bryce Masters, who scored two runs while going 2-for-2.

Meanwhile, Pryor's undefeated season came to an end after seven games on Monday. They took a 5-2 hit to the loss column at the hands of Soddy Daisy. The loss put an end to the Tigers' undefeated start to the season.

Pryor saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Sergio Banuelos, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-2.

Having lost for the first time this season, Pryor fell to 7-1. As for Prattville Christian Academy, their record is now 15-0.
