Middletown has gone a perfect 6-0 against Catoctin recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Knights will welcome the Cougars at 6:30 p.m. One thing working in Middletown's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last three games.

On Friday, Middletown ended up a good deal behind Linganore and lost 56-42. The Knights haven't had much luck with the Lancers recently, as the team has come up short the last three times they've met.

Middletown's defeat shouldn't obscure the performances of Brittin Poffenbarger, who picked up 102 receiving yards and one touchdown, and Nathan Borawski, who picked up 24 receiving yards and one TD.

Meanwhile, Catoctin came up short against Smithsburg on Thursday and fell 14-6. While the Cougars had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Leopards 6-0.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Catoctin, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-6.

Everything came up roses for Middletown against Catoctin when the teams last played back in October of 2024, as the team secured a 43-6 win. Will the Knights repeat their success, or do the Cougars have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
