Soccer Recap: Apollo Takes a Loss

If Apollo was riding high fresh off their 4-1 takedown of Owensboro Catholic on Thursday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Eagles came up short against the Murray Tigers on Saturday, falling 4-0. While losing is never fun, Apollo can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Kentucky soccer rankings (they are ranked 65th, while Murray are ranked seventh).

Apollo's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Murray, their win bumped their record up to 5-0-1.

Coming up, Apollo will head out to challenge Daviess County at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Murray, they will host Trigg County at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
