Baseball Recap: Jefferson Comes Up Short

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They came up short against the Sioux City North Stars, falling 12-1. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Stars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 6-1 on Thursday.

Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 2-11. As for Sioux City North, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 6-7.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 13-6 win against Woodbine on the 5th. As for Sioux City North, they will square off against Lewis Central at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday.
