It was a good run, but Reeths-Puffer unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They took a 48-39 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Hart Pirates. While losing is never fun, the Rockets can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Michigan basketball rankings (they are ranked 290th, while the Pirates are ranked 49th).

Reeths-Puffer's defeat dropped their record down to 5-9. As for Hart, the win (which was their eighth in a row) raised their record to 11-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Reeths-Puffer will challenge Caledonia at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. Caledonia will roll in looking for their 11th straight victory, something Reeths-Puffer surely won't give up without a fight. As for Hart, they will face off against North Muskegon at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
