Oakland-Craig put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They blew past the Wisner-Pilger Gators 65-31. The match marked the Knights' most dominant victory of the season so far.

Oakland-Craig's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Briar Ray, who went 6 for 13 on her way to 12 points in addition to eight boards and six steals. What's more, Ray also racked up five assists, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Sonya Guzinski, who went 6 of 13 en route to 14 points and six assists.

Oakland-Craig smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 14 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in five consecutive contests.

Oakland-Craig pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.8 points per game. As for Wisner-Pilger, they now have a losing record at 1-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Oakland-Craig won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Madison at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Oakland-Craig is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 55 points per game this season. As for Wisner-Pilger, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Stanton at 6:00 p.m. on January 2, 2025.
