Rio Americano entered their tilt with Kennedy on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Cougars. The Raiders have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Cougars, too.

Camden Kallhoff paced Rio Americano's offense, picking up eight kills. Kallhoff got some help from Kate Ellis and her 11 assists. Kwynn Carrillo and Kendall Carey kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Rio Americano's victory bumped their record up to 19-5. As for Kennedy, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-12 record this season.
